Congratulations to the Following teams that played in Grand Finals last weekend;

  • LL Machine Blasters (going down to Stealers in a close game 2-1)
  • LL Machine Black Thunder (runners-up to Kissing Point 9-5)
  • LL Rookies Strikers (victors over Macquarie in a close Game 6-2)
  • LL Major d’Mons (another one to fall to Stealers in a close game 9-4)

We need to also remember our Senior teams firstly our 2 teams that competed in their respective Grand Finals;

  • A Grade who went down in a close game to Winston Hills (10-7)
  • G Grade who are wrapped up the Premiership, after being Minor Premiers, with a solid win over Kuringai Stealers.

There were also a number of teams still in the hunt for that elusive Grand Final spot with the following playing Finals Games to qualify;

  • B Grade are taking on Stealers this Saturday @ Greenway (unfortunately going down 8-3)
  • E Grade (one of 4 teams in this division) taking on Rangers this Saturday @ Greenway (washout so Greenway through)
  • E Grade (yes another one) will be taking on Thornleigh this Saturday @ Oakleigh Park (lost a close game 3-2)
  • F Grade will be taking on North Sydney this Saturday @ Flat Rock Reserve (victory was theirs 14-4)

So the washout after this weekend is the following teams are playing in their Grand Finals this coming weekend;

  • D Grade after being Minor Premiers are taking on Thornleigh @ Greenway D2 at 1.30pm
  • E Grade are taking on Thornleigh @ Oakleigh at 3.45pm
  • E Grade are also taking on Stealers @ Greenway D1 at 1.30pm
  • F Grade are taking on Kissing Point @ Auluba at 3.45pm
