Harvey Norman Friday Night Lights

Looking for something to do this coming Friday night, and the 2 after that, why not head out to Blacktown International Sports Park to see some of the up and coming talent in the NSW Baseball Ranks with the Cronulla Sharks (fresh off their Little League Nationals win) taking on the U12 World Cup team (featuring 5 of Greenway's own home grown talent).

All they are asking for you to come along and enjoy what will be some entertaing baseball, is a mere gold coin donation to help raise money for their respective upcoming trips.

For all the details click the flyer below and it will take you to the Baseball NSW website.

Congratulations to the Ryde North Little League team on taking Bronze at ALLC

Home Town Hero | Cooper Garth

Check out the video of Greenway's own Cooper Garth, posting an opposite field 2 run walk off in the Bronze Medal Game at the Australian Little League Championships.

Of course it isn't about one person it could not of all happened without the time and effort of the 13 other players in the team, and the Coaching staff. Not to mention all the hours Mum and Dad put in ferrying you around. It is fantastic though when it all leads to moments like this that you will remember for a lifetime.

Local Derby

Wednesday 27th May Cherrybrook Technology High School and Pennant Hills High School played each other in the Proud's Shield High School knockout tournament. Each of the teams had many of our own Greenway players taking the field, making this a great game of camaraderie.

The sportsmanship and competition were outstanding along with the smiles on everyone's faces, each team gave it their all and in the words of the umpire "it was a shame only one team could win". Cherrybrook Tech will move on to the next round playing Killara High School in a few weeks. Greenway Giants wish them well and know they have much support from the Pennant Hills High team as well.

Special thanks to Terry Chang who dressed the field for the game as well as performing the umpiring duties for the kids.
