Wednesday 27th May Cherrybrook Technology High School and Pennant Hills High School played each other in the Proud’s Shield High School knockout tournament. Each of the teams had many of our own Greenway players taking the field, making this a great game of camaraderie.

The sportsmanship and competition were outstanding along with the smiles on everyone’s faces, each team gave it their all and in the words of the umpire “it was a shame only one team could win”. Cherrybrook Tech will move on to the next round playing Killara High School in a few weeks. Greenway Giants wish them well and know they have much support from the Pennant Hills High team as well.

Special thanks to Terry Chang who dressed the field for the game as well as performing the umpiring duties for the kids.
