2014 / 2015 Greenway Giants will have 2 teams representing – 1 in each division – of the NSW Women’s Baseball League.

1st Grade – Featuring a number of NSW & Australian Representatives, will be in hot pursuit of the Rhea Cornell Shield – the Premiership Shield since 2001 (Was formerly a Winter competition, until 2003, where it was moved to the Summer Competition).

The Competition will be tough, going up against Reigning Premiers Blacktown (2013/14),  Ryde (2x Winners – 2011/12, 2012/13), Baulkham Hills (2 x winners – 2006/07, 2008/09), Cronulla (2x Winners – 2004/05, 2005/06) & Hawkesbury have yet to claim the title.

2nd Grade will also participate in a tough competition, up against Macarthur, Hawkesbury, Cronulla, Manly, Penrith, Concord & Kellyville.

Womens Teams Grand Finalists

Congratulations to both our Womens Senior Teams on making it through to their Grand Finals, not only did they make it through, both teams finished the season Minor Premiers.

After both teams had wins this weekend that have a week off to rest and prepare for the Grand Finals on 16th / 17th March.

We wish them luck for their Grand Final out at BISP, for those interested in going along and supporting please check out the schedule here.

Fingers crossed they can both bring home the premiership.

GG-Disc-150pxThis is your chance to come down and support Greenway's A Grade womens team. This is going to be a big night at Greenway as we have a double header on the night with Baulkham Hills vs Cronulla and then the main event Greenway vs Blacktown.

The players would love to have you there to cheer them along games start at:

  • Game 1 - 3.30pm
  • Game 2 - 6.10pm

Season 2017/18


With the season about to begin this Friday night for some of our Junior teams, and the rest of our teams (from T-ball to A-Grade) this Saturday/Sunday.

The Committee would like to take this opportunity to wish all our teams good luck for the upcoming season.

Always remember the 3 important rules while you are out there.

Womens Development Program

BNSW is again running a development program for Women through the months of July and August.

The program will focus on the fundamentals of the game of baseball and target Women baseballers from the age of 12 and above.
