Following on from the success of the previous clinics for our junior girls, run by the clubs Womens A Grade side, we have arranged for more clinics this season. Our first is coming up on Saturday 3 December at 3.30pm at Greenway. The Clinic will finish at 5pm when the ladies will start to warm up for their game starting at 6.10pm for anyone wanting to stay and watch.
This is a fabulous event and we are very fortunate for the girls to have the opportunity to learn from these brilliant ladies, some of whom have played in the Australian team. It is wonderful to watch them interacting with our younger players and they all have loads of fun.
Basically the girls will just have fun and do some throwing and catching and batting. The Ladies have been extremely generous with their time in the past and usually will sign all the girls hats, bats, gloves etc. Girls just need to wear casual clothes with their Greenway hats, sunscreen, water and all their usual baseball equipment.
You are encouraged to stay and watch the game, so bring along a chair/blanket, nibbles etc to enjoy an evening of great baseball. The club will have the BBQ going, so you can grab some dinner, or pop down to Cherrybrook village to grab some takeaway.
Congratulations to the 4 Women's A Grade players from Greenway to be selected in the 20 person squad for the world cup in Korea next year.
