Game Management Course

RHBL is running a game management course, as an introduction to umpiring, this is available to any one of any age.

We are encouraging all our junior players (Little League Live Ball) to participate as this could be a good way to get a greater understanding of the game from a different perspective.

For those wishing to register please click here to register on the RHBL website.

Wine Offer – Support the World Cup boys

wbsc 2015Lochie, Zak, Shy and Jimmy are getting really excited, training hard for their U12 Australian World Cup experience. We have extra expenses as we need to fund the whole trip for the boys. We have very little time with less than 3 weeks to go.

The Bottle Shop that we used for fundraising for the Ryde Hawks Little League National Team has kindly offered to extend their supply for three weeks at the same cost as before. ie. Red or White wine $10 per bottle and Champagne $15 per bottle OR 1 dozen of white or red $120. Our fundraising for nationals was a big success especially with the wine orders.

If you would consider purchasing some wine (labels the same as before) you can do so through by emailing to secretary@greenwaygiants.org.au. Then please pay Greenway Giants Baseball Club by EFT payment using reference “wine then your surname” . eg. Wine Thompson. Note: PAYMENT AND AN EMAIL are required before an order will be processed.

All the profit from the wine purchases will be put towards the costs for our four boys to help get them to Tainan China. ie. Jimmy Nati, Zak Elvy, Shye Dolatshahi and Lachlan Thompson.

On behalf of the Parents of Jimmy, Zak, Shy and Lochie I hope you will support our boys and help them on their way to the World Cup.

Harvey Norman Friday Night Lights

Looking for something to do this coming Friday night, and the 2 after that, why not head out to Blacktown International Sports Park to see some of the up and coming talent in the NSW Baseball Ranks with the Cronulla Sharks (fresh off their Little League Nationals win) taking on the U12 World Cup team (featuring 5 of Greenway’s own home grown talent).

All they are asking for you to come along and enjoy what will be some entertaing baseball, is a mere gold coin donation to help raise money for their respective upcoming trips.
