Baseball Australia Diamond Awards

NSW has all but swept the Baseball Australia Diamond Awards (BADAs) for 2012 winning seven of the ten available awards.

More importantly from a Greenway viewpoint, our very own Laura Neads won Player Of The Year in the Open Women's category. Click here for the full story, but how's this for a list of achievements in 2010/11!

"Laura had a fantastic season in 2010/11. Laura was a part of the Australian Women’s National team that secured a silver medal at the 4th Women’s World Cup in Venezuela. Laura helped NSW to the silver medal in the National Women’s Championships in 2011. Laura also received the Most Valuable Player award in the NSW Women’s A Grade League for the 2010/11 season".

All Baseball and Softball Washed Out!!!!

Wow - how about those doomsayers a few years ago who said we would never have significant rain ever again! Oh dear!

Anyway, all junior and senior Softball and Baseball has been washed out for the weekend, so stick the feet up, have a sleep in on both days, and read the newspapers from cover to cover!
