Womens Baseball League

Whilst the 2019/2020 season was interrupted by rain, heat and ultimately COVID-19, the 1st Grade team was once again successful, being declared Premiers on the strength of finishing the season on top of the ladder, due to the Grand Final initially being washed out, and then the season being declared over due to COVID-19.

Whilst we would have preferred to play the Grand Final, being declared winners makes it five in a row for the team.

Six players earned selection in the NSW Womens Team.

Unfortunately, the Women’s National Championships have been postponed, though all six players are in strong contention for selection in the Australian Team to contest the World Cup in Mexico, should it proceed.

Greenway leads the way in participation in the Women’s League, being the only club to have fielded 1st and 2nd Grade teams for the past 11 years.
